  If its being sold as new and unopened, inside should be a warranty card with an extra 2 years, but I believe you need proof of purchase/valid receipt if there is any need for a claim.
  If you register it then the camera will have warranty regardless of the seller.
  If you're buying used then the answer is simply no; the camera warranty would be in another name.
