  I have not seen any posts here with that lens, but have seen a fair number in which people are looking for a good deal in that general focal length. It sounds like a pretty good all-around length for traveling, if it has good habits. Since you seem to be using one, others here might be interested in your own experience. If it's sharp at the long end and focuses nicely, for example it might well be what some are looking for here. What do you find to be its disadvantages, if any.
