Aperture and FPS relationship to filmmaking

Hey Moose, just looking for an explanation on how different shutter speeds and lens widths are going to affect my shots if I'm going for more of a classic movie look (for short films). How do I adjust these to get the footage I want? Editing aside.

@Drumstick93 - My expertise is tied directly to digital photography. Believe it or not, I'm still very green when it comes to recording HD video with a DSLR. My advice is to mosey on over to the Vimeo forums (see here). They should be able to point you in the right direction. Happy shooting! :)
