Why my 60d buffer 5sec autostop on recording hd video?

edited July 2012 Posted in » Canon 60D Forum
Currently im using Sandisk Class 4 4g.
When I try to use video recording it stops automatically.

I suspect it's because of my low class memory card.
If my prediction is correct, I need to know which memory card in which class can avoid this problem.

    Hi,
You need a class 10 card and preferably at least 16gb for video. Sandisk produce an extreme card labelled HD Video and it is highly recommended.

  • I am having the same problem! I have a Toshiba 16GB SDHC Memory Card. Is this the right card?

I'm using the Transcend 16gb, class10, but having the same problem. It starts to record for a while and stops. Is it wrong on the card or the camera?

@ALL: I have the card listed by PBked and although I do not do alot of video, I have never had any trouble. The longest video segment was 3 minutes.
