When I look at a cloud or at the clear sky my view is cloudy and full of specks. As I zoom out it becomes more noticeable. It is not on my photo or lens, just in the viewfinder.
Hi, It sounds like either your mirror or focussing screen are dirty or both. The mirror can be easily cleaned by wiping a cotton bud soaked in a cleaning solution. A cleaning solution suitable for spectacles or contact lens is ideal although you can buy the proper stuff from a photography store. It is important that you use the right solution so that it won't leave residue or smears. If you turn your camera upside down you can see the focus screen through the lens housing. Because it is a fresnel screen, small specks of dust can get trapped in the grooves. Use a photographic blower like the rocket blower to gently blow this dust away. Do not use compressed air! Hope this solves your problem. Regards, PBked
