eBay macro lens

Hi, I'm Zac. I just recently bought the best beginner camera in my eyes, the Nikon D3100. I've seen lenses that screw on the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses for macro. I'm just a beginner and was wondering if anyone has used or bought these.

You cannot beat a good lens dedicated to a specific job like Macro, but IMHO is a way of trying out Macro photography. These screw in filter type can be an inexpensive way of trying out a form of photography. You then lose very little money if you decide to not bother with Macro.
