Which lenses to buy?

Hi.
I do not yet own a DSLR but have decided on the T2i. I want to be able to shoot portraits, landscapes, and flowers. I want to shoot inside and out.

What lenses do you recommend?
My current budget for lenses goes up to $600.

I would be happy to buy a whole kit with camera, lenses, extra battery pack, bag, etc.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

50mm f/1.8
If you're looking for price+results the best choice is the kit "nifty fifty" 50mm f1.8 + 430 EX II speedlite flash. With the change you can buy a good SD/HC card and a difuser for the flash.
Although with a 50mm you'll have to walk instead of zooming.
I have one and I like it very much.
24-70mm f/2.8
70-200mm f/2.8
With these two you can't miss either. But you'll not get the flash etc.
