Shooting Modes

I have a Nikon 5100, a black backdrop with 3 light setup that has 2 soft boxes, and a speedlite yn560-II. I am supposed to shoot studio pictures for prom tomorrow. Can you suggest settings for this shoot? Also, I will be shooting pictures outside. Any tips I would really appreciate, thank you.
