Telephoto lens for an African safari

I'm purchasing a Canon EOS 60D for a trip to Africa. The camera comes with the 18-135mm lens. I feel as though it's not enough for Africa and considering the 55-250mm, 70-300mm and EF 70-200mm f/4. I realize the 55-250mm is lighter and cheaper than the other two. I plan on leaving the 18-135mm lens home and only taking the additional lens. Is the 55-250mm going to do it all?
