Is it true that taking picture of the sun directly is harmful to your lens as well as camera? If it is, then how can I take a picture of a sunrise and sunset. Thanks in advance.
Howdy Hsenid - When the sun is low in the sky most of the light is diffracted by the atmosphere, so it really poses no major risks to your gear. If the sun is a bit higher in the sky, just be quick to take the shot. I've taken hundreds, if not thousands of shots pointed directly at the sun and haven't had any performance issues with my gear. Happy shooting! :)
