hello - i downloaded the cheatsheets last week for my nikon d5100. used them this weekend for a big XC meet and the pics were great.

i have purchased a Tamron AFA011N700 SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD Zoom Lens, and trying to get used to it and its great features.

my question is we have a night XC race romorrow night and i want to get some of those good action shots, but not sure if the telephoto is my best option. races start at 6 and run until 9, so i will go from some bright indirect light to only stadium type lighting around the course. any suggestions would be much appreciated.
