A lens for local bands

What would be a good budget lens for my 60D to take photos of a friends band in a local bar or at an open air concert? I imagine one lens won't be enough! Any thoughts would be appreciated - Rojo

Howdy @rojo68 - If you're just starting out, take a look at the "nifty fifty" Canon 50mm f/1.8 II. This lens is super affordable and fantastic for band/musician shots in low light.
