Default Strobe Shutter Speed

I have noticed that on our 60D's, when we use the strobe in automatic mode, it defaults to a shutter speed of 1/60 of a second. Is there any way to "default" this to 1/125th or 1/250th? I have some photos that have a blurry issue with movement when shooting strobe. In "film" days, I always used 1/250th. Suppressed that Canon 60D is 1/60th of a second.

Hi,
The flash speed in AV mode can be fixed at 1/250th using custom function 1 - 7. However, be aware that although the subject may come out properly exposed, the background may be very dark.
