Video out of focus/blurry

Hi,

I have just tried out the video option on my new D3300 (very pleased with the picture so far!), and the picture seem quite blurry. Am I missing some setting? The camera was set to auto and obviously I accessed the video recording option via live view but was disappointed with the results.

Can anyone please help a photography newbie?
