Light Flashing

Hello, I have turned off the flash on my camera. However, there is still a light which lights up to the right of the lenses. I bought my camera in order to photography my newborn, but the light is much too bright for me to shoot him. How do I get rid of it? Thanks.

Howdy @Samy - It sounds like the AF-Assist Illuminator is enabled. To turn it off, just access the MENU, navigate to the Shooting Menu (camera icon) and highlight AF-Assist. This will allow you to toggle it on or off. Happy shooting! :)
