I am doing a video tutorial for an online site. I can't seem to get the settings right to get a good video. I'm guessing that it is something to do with the auto focus, but can't figure out what. I tried a few manual settings but couldn't get any good results that way either. The camera is on a tripod. I am filming a machine that is performing a digital cut. The mat goes back and forth into the machine and I am guessing that might also be a factor. Any suggestions? I have made videos before and have not had problems.
Thanks.

Another possible reason is that although you have enhanced the resolution, for example to 1080p, you forget to adjust the bit rate along with it. Normally an 1080p video require a bitrate value of 7000( you can refer to http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/improve-video-quality.html.) or the output will still look grainy.
