Shots of a graduation in a stadium

Hello, I upgraded yesterday from a D3100 to a D5300 with the kit.
Any advice? I will be taking photos of my high school seniors graduation at a football stadium at 6pm.

I think you'll find most everything just an advance on what you had before. The D5300 should have better low light auto focus and better high ISO performance, making it a little easier to catch action in low light.

For internet sharing and small prints especially, the 24 megapixel image allows for a great deal of cropping.
