Multiple photo deletion

Hi, sorry this is probably a very simple question! Just bought my D3200 and cannot work out how to delete multiple photos. Basically I don't know how to "select" multiple photos when in "delete multiple photos" menu.

Go to the "delete multiple photos" menu, and you should see a screen with small images. Select each one with the [-] button, and the image should appear with a little trash can icon. Use the left/right arrows to move to the next image. When the selection is done, hit [OK] and they're gone.
