Hello all. Is there a way to connect a microphone to the D3100?

Hey @Hana360 - Unfortunately, the D3100 doesn't come with a mic input jack. The only way to get good audio is to record it with an external recorder and then sync the audio with the video when editing. Depending on what your recording, you could use a lavalier mic connected to a Zoom H1 for interviews or a Rode VideoMic connected to a Zoom H1 for running and gunning.
