Macro (close-up) lenses for the T2i

I have a T2i and have taken some amazing pictures with 18-55mm kit lens, but I'm looking to upgrade. I like to photograph small objects like bees, bugs, jewelry and stones etc...

I was looking at Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro lens. Will it fit the T2i? Is it a good macro lens? Thank you!

    Howdy @Movindcosta - Yep, the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM (see here) is compatible with the T2i. It's a fantastic macro lens (one of my favorites) capable of focusing down to 1 foot, giving you the ability to capture amazing detail. The lens itself is extremely sharp, quick to focus and produces wonderfully smooth bokeh (blur).
