Group/family photo

Hi all, this Christmas we (wife and I) are having 17 family members for Christmas day and would like to take some group photos. I've got a prime 50mm f/1.8, 18-55mm f/5.3-5.6, a 55-200mm f/4-5.6 and a tripod and wireless remote. What settings should I use and should I get a flash light unit?
