Issues with image noise and sharpness

Hello, I'm hoping someone will have some information for me regarding my Canon T2i.
I've noticed more recently (an issue I didn't have before when taking photographs) that my photo's come out less sharp, and have substantially more noise in the images. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like something may be wrong with my camera, or perhaps I'm not using the right settings. But as stated, I've taken many pictures, and the noise issue is pretty new. I shoot with low ISO, and have a pretty steady hand. Also I am careful with shutter speed when working hand held. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @cblue - I agree with @ohyeahar...if you could post one or two examples online somewhere we can diagnose the issue pretty quickly and then point you in the right direction. All the best!
