Hi everybody. What are the best settings for jewelry photography with Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 dl macro super lens?
Thank you.

- I'd start with the following setup...
1. Place your jewelry on a dark or metallic surface.
2. Try to shoot with soft natural light. You don't really want any hard light sources, like a flash pointing at the subject.
3. Attach your camera to a tripod.
4. Enable Manual mode (M), set the aperture to f/8 and select an appropriate shutter speed to expose the image properly.
5. Set your ISO to 100.
6. Focus on the jewelry...manual focus can be helpful in this instance.
7. Engage the shutter. To eliminate any chance of camera shake you might try enabling the self-timer.
That should get you going in the right direction. All the best! :)
