How do I clean my lens?

I was talking with a fellow T2i owner over on my Facebook page and he was wondering how to best clean his lens. I thought it would be beneficial to share our conversation with all of you...

Dany's Question: What do you recommend to clean the lens?

Moose's Answer: I use a Giottos rocket air blaster to blow way as much dust as possible. Then I'll use a kabuki brush to get rid of stubborn dirt particles. Once the dirt and debris is removed from the front lens element, I'll use a basic microfiber cloth to clean finger smudges and residue. Stay away from liquids and solutions...just my two cents :)
