Can the settings be changed on the Canon 60D so that the increments for the aperture increase one full stop rather than by thirds?

    Yes, it be changed by the custom fn menu under exposure.

    How do you adjust the aperture when you're in manual mode?

    Hi Karen, I am a little confused. Are you referring to aperture or exposure compensation? If you are referring to aperture, then the answer is no. If you are referring to exposure compensation, then the answer is given by @dryl10 above although you only have a choice between 1/3 or 1/2.
