I want to take a picture of a decorative ceiling and would really like to use the Fish Eye setting on the D3100. If I do use it, which mode on the dial do I need to be in? Hope this makes sense!
Hi Katrina, It doesn't matter which mode you use as the fish eye is a filter effect that you apply to your picture. Various manufacturers have started including gimmicky filters in their cameras. They are ok if you like that sort of thing. Regards, PBked
Thank you! I have been asked to take some pictures of my Church's ceiling for a book. I'd seen another church ceiling which had been taken using a fish eye lens that was fantastic and I wanted to do something similar. I'll see what the filter does to my picture! With all best wishes, Katrina
