Attaching a Lens

I have a Canon Powershot S2 IS, and I just bought a Raynox DCR-250 lens to be able to get some better close up shots. Now that I have the lens out of the box, I see that it won't connect straight to my camera. What do I need to be able to attach the lens to my camera?

    Sorry for the late reply, I assumed someone would have answered your question by now.
    Anyway, sadly the Raynox was not designed for bridge type cameras like yours. Sell it and try to recoup some of your money.
