Tokina 28-70mm

Hi! I'm planning to buy a Tokina 28-70mm f/2.8. The problem is I don't know what is best for my D3100. I dont know what model of Tokina 28-70mm has a built in motor. Please help! Thanks in advance.

You will need the Tokina 28-70mm pro II (version II ). Earlier ones didn't have a built in focus motor. Problem is this lens is discontinued so you have to buy it from ebay. Lens seems to be usual tokina, sharp and built like a tank. Nothing moves outside when zooming. Hopefully you find one.
