Alternate Lines Appear in my Photos

Hello! I just took a photo and the outcome seems like it has alternate lines when I playback the pictures. When I printed it out it turned out the way. I don't know where exactly the problem is. Please help me.

    Are the lines on the image on the back screen or when you view on the computer?
    I had something like this and even got Nikon on the case by email.
    It turned out that my external hard drive, if plugged in when downloading, caused this.
    Unplug, download and ok.
    Other than that, I don't know. If you don't get any joy here, try the Nikonians website.
