When I focus through the viewfinder and press the shutter, it takes long time to take the picture. When I focus using the LCD display (using the same settings) it's much quicker. What's the reason behind it? Which settings will resolve this problem?
@showket - I would first reset all of your in-camera settings back to factory default. You can do this inside the 60D menu by highlighting the second 'Set-up' tab and selecting 'Clear all camera settings.'
After you complete the reset process, enable Program mode (P on the mode dial) and go outside and take a couple test shots using the optical viewfinder. When taking your test shots, first pre-focus using half-press. When you get autofocus confirmation, fully press the shutter button. Let me know how it all shakes out. :)
