Howdy @Guido - In all honesty, you could pair the Canon 24-105mm L series lens with any Canon DSLR and you'd get outstanding results.
The only "con" I can think of would be that the Canon 60D has an APS-C sensor, which means you'd have to multiply the focal length by 1.6x to get the "full frame" equivalent. So for example...
- When mounted to the 60D, the "full frame" equivalent focal length would be 38-168mm.
- When mounted to the 5D Mark III, the focal length would remain 24-105mm.
The difference between 24mm and 38mm is quite substantial, especially when trying to capture wide sweeping landscapes. However, if you're most interested in shooting portraits, then the 38-168mm equivalent focal length would be perfect.

Hope that all makes sense and happy shooting! :)
