Best Lens for Filming?

Hello,
I'm currently using a Nikon D5100 with AF-S DX 18-55m f/3.5-5.6 G VR lens. I use the camera a lot for filming, and most of time I have to keep an eye on the focus during filming otherwise the picture will go blurry.

So I'm looking for a new lens which is best for filming. Any advice which lens to look at?

I'm considering the 18-105mm AF-S DX Nikkor F3.5-5.6 G ED VR lens. Is that any good?
