Screen Resolution

I have both the 60D and G12 Canons. The G12 takes widescreen photos (I know I changed it to do so but for the life of me can't recall how I did it) but the 60D is taking them in old format. I don't know what you call it but they are 3648 x 2736, and I want them 3648 x 2048. How can I change the 60D to do that and can you tell me how I did it on the G12?

The resize function is on page 222 of the 60D manual. I don't have the G12, but function should be similar.
