Tightness Mounting 50mm Lens to Camera

Hi,

I have found that my newly purchased 50mm f/1.8G lens doesn't mount on the camera body as easily as my other lenses do. I feel the tightness when its halfway to the point where it stays. I'd say its double the tightness you feel when mounting my kit lens. Is my lens faulty or there is something that is causing this tightness?

I'd appreciate your prompt response as I need to get back to the seller ASAP if it is faulty.

    I purchased mine last week and it has the same issue too. I'm going to return it, I guess.
