Time Lapse Pictures

Does anyone know if the Nikon D3100 camera with the 18-55mm kit lens does time lapse pictures? If so, what are the settings?

    The camera is not capable of doing these shots unfortunately.

    If you're wanting the option to set intervals of taking any time lapse pictures over a period of time then there is no function what so ever. I do believe you can buy a digital remote controller that can help you with this. If you're wanting this function in camera then you will need to upgrade. The D7000 is pretty sweet. ;)
