Indoor Studio Shoot

Hello! I just joined your group today and I'm looking forward to your help! Thank you in advance!

With my Nikon D5100 I am planning to photograph in manual mode a model in my new studio tomorrow. My studio has a white background and floor, and I am using soft box continuous lighting without flash. Can you suggest which settings might work best?

I plan to use my 35mm f/1.8 lens. I'm curious about ISO, metering, and white balance. I plan to shoot still life models. Thank you again!
