Indoor Low-Light Settings

edited November 2012 Posted in » Nikon D3100 Forum
I was wondering what the best settings would be to do a indoor session with low lighting?

Also, I read somewhere that I can connect my camera to my computer using an USB cord and any pictures I take while it's connected should show automatically on my computer screen. My question is how would I go about doing that?

There are a number of things you can do. The first is to turn the ISO up to 400 or even 800 (don't go to high as the image quality will drop). Second, find some table top lamps and light your subject. Third, buy an external flash. SB-400 is a great start but I would recommend SB-700 or better. Then bounce the flash off the wall and you can start getting creative.

The only option that I know of that can do this is to buy a Wi-Fi card. That goes in the camera and it connects via your router. When you take a picture it will display on the computer using the required software.

    Regards.
