Best Settings For High-Speed Video

I'm looking to record a golf swing. As you know, it's relatively fast and I want to get it as clear as possible. What would be the best video settings for this? Does it change if I'm inside or outside? We just purchased the 35mm lens and it should be coming in shortly. Would this help with clarity at all for this type of video? I'm truly a beginner and don't know much about the camera itself. Thanks for any help/insight.
