Filters In The Settings Menu

When I click the arrow pad while viewing my pictures all the settings appear. One of the settings was filters and I was wondering if I am supposed to change that in my camera (do I have a UV or some other type of filter)?

    When viewing photos on the camera/card, each directional arrow allows for different options. With filters you can apply a filter to the specific image you are viewing to change the appearance of the original. I hope this helps! :D
