No better picture with higher priced camera

I read or heard that often times you don't need a more expensive camera to take good quality pictures. Is this true?

    A camera is just a tool for the photographer, just like how paints, brushes, and canvases are tools for an artist. If you take away the artist’s favorite tools and just give him crayons and construction paper, I’m pretty sure he’ll still be able to come up with something amazing.

    I highly recommend you to check out DigitalRevTV’s YouTube channel and watch their videos on “Pro-photographer Cheap-camera Challenge”. Just go to their channel and then go to their playlists. As the title suggests, they get a pro-photographer, give him a cheap camera, then see how the results look.
