T2i Shutter Issue

edited September 2012 Posted in » Canon T2i Forum
Hi guys,

I have a Rebel T2i. When in manual modes, if I press the shutter half way it focuses, and if I press it all the way I get a click and I lose the viewfinder. I then have to press it again fully for it to snap back into place and take the picture.

In auto modes one full press takes the photo.

This just started happening and I have no idea why. A reset of camera settings didn't help.

Any Ideas? Anyone experience this before?

Thanks!

Shawn

Hey guys I figured it out with a bit more googling. Seems I had a cFn set for lock shutter up or something like that. Switched it over to disabled and I'm good to go!

Yes, you only use shutter lock up to help lessen camera shake when using a tripod.
