Pause button when shooting video

Hey guys! Newbie here. Where's the pause button on my D3100? When shooting a video it seems that there's no way to pause the recording. Your answer will be a big help. Thanks! :)

    Howdy @Gracentgab - When recording movies with the D3100, you use the 'Movie Record' button (small round button with an orange dot) to start recording and end recording. When playing back the video, you can press the down arrow on the multi-selector to pause the recording. Hope that makes sense. Happy shooting! :)

    Just got my new d3100 and am very happy with it, Just one question tho', when in video mode can I control the Aperture or Shutter (In very Bright Sunlight)
