Aperture in portrait mode

Can u set the aperture when using the "Portrait" scene mode?

    Howdy @solost - In 'Portrait' mode the D5100 automatically adjust the aperture for you. To control the aperture, you'll need to rotate the mode dial to 'A' (aperture priority). Once aperture priority is enable, use the smaller command dial to select your desired aperture f-number. Hope that helps and happy shooting! :)
