Canon Rebel T2i Screen Blinks

Hi,

I recently got a Canon Rebel T2i and I saw today that when it is on the main screen (not the screen that shows the picture or movie, but the screen that allows you to change everything prior to that) it blinks when I reach in to change something. I tried charging the battery and turning it on/off. It's new and well refurbished, so I'm not sure what to do.
