Maximum shooting distance with the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens

How far away from a subject can you get with this lens and still get a crisp photo?

    Howdy @karen - If you're trying to capture people, animals, monuments, isolated subjects, etc... I would say roughly 20 to 30 feet. This will allow you to get tight framing and retain crisp details. Happy shooting! :)

    The 50mm 1.8 is a great lens! ...At 20-30 ft I've witnessed HDR type results with the Nikkor/G
    Crisp details for sure!
