Trip to Manhattan Skyline

Hi Moose,
First of all, thank you for providing such a great web site for beginners like me.
I will travel to New York City in the end of June. I really want to take photos of the Manhattan Skyline at night time. I have purchased the Canon Speedlite 430EX II flash. Also I currently own a Tokina AF 11-16mm f/2.8 Pro DX lens and a Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 lens. I wonder if you can tell me what settings I would need to set in my Canon Rebel T2i in order to get good quality of photos at night time. If I need to take a tripod / monopod, I will do so as well.
