I have version 1.1.0 which is what I believe to be the latest update. I checked Canon's site but can't really find a place to check the version or instructions to install updates. I figures it's something simple like copy the firmware to the SD card and update.
Most of the links on the Canon website bring me to japanese sites.
The problem is I have a friend that has a 60D with 1.0.5 on her camera. She would like to update, but can't find it. Anyone do any of the updates? It would be helpful to also know what the updates actually fix. She has not reported any problems, but then again she might not have the situations that cause a problem. I did see people complain about picture rotation etc. in earlier versions.
So I am at a loss as to how to help her out with her update. Sometimes fixing the problem that doesn't exist causes more problems.
