Connecting to my Samsung Note 4

I have read the book on this and also checked several You Tube videos, but I cannot get my D5300 to connect and stay connected to my Note 4, running Lollypop.

There are three ways to connect, per the manual, but I get the message on the camera saying, "Prepare the Camera for connection", but it does not say how to do that. Yes, I have downloaded the apps too.

Sometimes it will connect for a short time. Can any one point me to a good video or discussion on this?

I had this problem with my note3. The trick is to put the phone into airplane mode; worked fine once I did that.
