18-55mm with strong yellow/green colors

Is anyone experiencing a strong yellow/green color in their photos? For example, if I take a photo of a person in a room (with flash), their hair is strangely very green. I did some research and have heard of the "green screen" problem, but the whole photo is not green. The person will be in perfectly natural colors but the strange yellow/green is concentrated usually around the hair or warm objects. Is this normal? How do I fix it? I have tried changing the settings and putting into "neutral" but nothing is really helping.
