Suggestions for Shots of Washington DC

It's time for our yearly vacation/road trip, This year we are going to DC, last year it was Vegas. Any suggestions on places I should shoot or any advice for picture taking would be greatly appreciated. Last year on the trip to Vegas I took 2800 pictures!

Howdy @chellebelly - Sounds like a great trip! I would do a keyword search on Flickr and 500px for anything related to Washington DC. You'll get some great ideas and in many cases, the photographer provides GPS coordinates which will give you a rough idea as to where they captured the image. Charge those batteries and have fun!
